As you can see, we've got much more than a web site on our hands here. We've got a very powerful communication tool. Communication is crucial to building any effective organization and now that we have great infrastructure in place, we can take advantage of it to build the Westfield Democratic City Committee into a more powerful political player in our city.

While most web sites are stuck with stale old content that hardly ever changes, our web site is going to be interactive and updated frequently. Who's going to do all that work? Westfield citizens will! The great thing about this web site is that any user can also be a contributor and post stories and opinions of interest to the broader community. And it will display that information in an attractive and easy to navigate way.

My goal is to help make the web site committee extremely active and involved in the decisions that affect this site. There's going to be a lot to discuss and do with our site and the creative possibilities this powerful tool will give us are endless. And there will constantly be new improvements and features getting added to the site. So get ready, we're going to have some fun with this thing!
