The meeting was called to order at the Westfield Athenaeum at 6:45.

New business: The Committee needs a place for the Caucus, possibly the Westfield
Boys and Girls Club on February 3rd. The cost for the convention is $75.00.
Also we need to set a date for the Lots-a-pasta dinner.
It is difficult to find a good meeting place for the Committee
meetings. Some places require liability insurance. Other places are costly. If
Westfield State College had a Young Democrats Club, we could get a room there.
A motion was made to continue to use the Athenaeum for meetings. It passed.
We need to consider having other events such as a wine and cheese tasting or a
Vegas night.
There was also a discussion regarding dues and whether or not to
raise them. A motion was made to raise the dues to $15.00. It does not pass.

Secretary’s minutes: The minutes were reviewed and a motion was made to accept the
minutes. The motion passed.

Treasurer’s report: The report was reviewed and a motion was made to receive the
report. The motion passed.

A motion was made to adjourn the meeting. The motion passed.
